Geospatial Analyst | GIS & Remote Sensing Researcher
WELCOME TO MY PORTFOLIO
I am an Urban and Regional Planning graduate with expertise in GIS, Remote Sensing, spatial analysis, and planning. I am experienced in master planning projects, geospatial data processing, environmental analysis, and research-driven problem solving. I have over two and a half years of experience in project coordination and supervision, field survey implementation, GIS based data management and quantitative analysis.
My work largely focuses on land-use analysis, climate and environmental monitoring, and developing spatial insights for planning and decision-making. My research experience includes applying remote sensing, GIS-based analysis, and machine learning approaches to examine climatic and environmental processes across different spatial scales.

This study applied a Random Forest (RF) model, integrating the Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) with seven remote sensing indices to evaluate drought intensity from 2010 to 2019. The analysis produced a set of drought distribution map, demonstrating the effectiveness of combining geospatial data and machine learning-based modeling for environmental monitoring.
This research delved into the complex dynamics of groundwater vulnerability. By investigating topographical, meteorological, socioeconomic, and land use & geological factors through a machine learning model, this research provided a comprehensive analysis, shedding light on the various aspects contributing to groundwater vulnerability of Bangladesh.
This investigation assessed students’ perceptions of campus environmental sustainability (ES) across three universities in Khulna, Bangladesh. Using survey-based analysis, it evaluated awareness, attitudes, and willingness to participate, providing insights to support sustainability-focused policymaking and campus planning.
This study examined the application of participatory rural appraisal (PRA) methods in a rural community, focusing on community engagement, local knowledge, and decision-making processes. The findings highlight how participatory approaches can support environmentally informed planning and community-level sustainability initiatives.
This project assessed the regional diversity of Bangladesh through a multi-criteria spatial analysis combining socio-economic, structural, and ecological indicators.
This study evaluated and compared the Environmental Management System (EMS) practices of KUET, BL College and Khulna University using spatial, environmental and survey data.
This project examined how passenger travel behavior changed before and during COVID-19 through a comparative analysis of questionnaire data and statistical tests.
This study proposed a Smart Village Plan for Sadakpur to enhance local productivity, accessibility and livelihood opportunities through digital interventions.
This project measured the temporal changes in urban service facilities of a zone of Khulna City (2011 to 2021) and evaluated urban problems and land use transformation.
This study proposed a planned residential neighborhood to ensure efficient land use, accessibility, and community facilities, in accordance with the Private Residential Land Development Rules.
